Echoes in Layers explores the passage of time through fragmented architectural forms, irregular blocks of color, and richly weathered surfaces. Muted fields of parchment, ochre, olive, plum, charcoal, and rust overlap across a distressed composition reminiscent of an aging fresco.

Jagged boundaries, cracked plaster, fading pigment, and partially revealed geometric forms give the work the feeling of a surface altered and rediscovered over generations.

Part of the Whispers of Time Collection, Echoes in Layers brings the collection to a close with a contemporary abstraction that echoes the arches, patina, mineral tones, and historical character found throughout the series.
